pH Determination Testing
Test Method(s):
· AATCC 81
A pH meter is used to determine the sample’s acidity or alkalinity.
AATCC 81 – pH of the Water-Extract for Wet Processed Textiles is used to determine the pH of wet processed textiles either scoured or bleached.
- Sample is extracted with water bath or Morapex extractor
- Extraction is then tested with pH meter
