AATCC Test Method 107, Colorfastness to Water
Scope: Measures the resistance of water of dyed, printed, or otherwise colored textile yarns and fabrics
- Sample is paired with a multi-fiber stripe
- Saturated with di-ionized water
- Placed in a Perspirometer in an oven for 18 hours to simulate exposure
- Color change of the sample and staining of the multi-fiber stripe is evaluated
